Hey everybody my name is Kira and I am 14 years old.

I am raising money for kids in Africa because they are like the brothers and sisters I’ve never had.

6,000 kids become orphans every day. I couldn’t imagine life without my mommy and daddy.

When I was 6 years old I had an allowance and could spend it however I wanted and I chose to help World Vision. I chose World Vision because I want them to have everything they need to help these kids survive.

What is important to me?

C. Stopping the spread of malaria
D. Fighting against child exploitation.

I invite you to join me and my friends in making a difference and seeking to change our world by praying for those impacted, educating others on these needs, and by making a contribution. All online contributions go directly to the specific partner organization. All cash or check contributions will get deposited and posted online by Friends of Kira.

My latest project is raise funds to allow me to visit Rwanda and to meet our sponsored children. In this, I want to see with my own eyes the work that is being done on their behalf. But, most importantly, I really want to see the brothers and sisters that I don’t have, but because of organizations like Africa New Life… I now have.
